You and I share a similar experience this past month. I know you've read of my grief and we all here share yours. Although I am a very open person, probably sharing too much, this time it took a while for me to share what had happened. The grief is just too open, too painful. I'm sure you feel that way too. Please don't worry about replying to this comment. It isn't necessary in your time of grief.

😭Oh dang, need tissues again. There are precious beings in our pets, and they have a big impact on our lives. They are such gifts. They’re not just four legged furry friends. Stay with your grief process. Likes and return comments are not needed at all. Just sending you love.

Please know how much you and Ande’s sharing means to all of us. Anyone who has been where you have been, are now, and will be forever can FEEL that need to fold inward.

There are not enough words of gratitude I have to thank you for the sheer strength it took to share this.

The truest pure love example for any of us are these beautiful canine companions. I always want to hold them all, forever, keep them safe and loved; for the love returned is unspeakable.

All of us everywhere send only love and care to you.

(And my apologies to all feline companion people - or any other companion loving people - I don’t mean canines exclusively, I don’t mean to minimize any of those relationships- it’s just my particular experience) ❤️

What you have shared is deeply touching and gutting and beautiful, full of love, and a light for me to follow when the time comes to say goodbye to my elderly kitty-girl. So very sorry for your loss. ♥️

Jeanne, holding you and your beautiful beautiful Ande in the light of healing. Yes, fold inward, be kind to yourself, have faith that the vast empty space Ande left is already filled with love, memories and gratitude.
